Whitney Houston was laid to rest Sunday morning in a private ceremony at a New Jersey cemetery.

A beige hearse that had a picture of the singer in the window and played “I Will Always Love You” carried her body into Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J.

The cemetery is the same spot where Houston’s father was buried in 2003.

Onlookers throwing roses, lilies and tulips lined the route to her gravesite as a police motorcade escorted the hearse and her family.

Daniel Berke, 18, of Westfield, one of about 100 neighbors who turned out, held a sign saying, “Whitney, we will always love you!”

"I'm glad she can be buried by her father," he said. "All her music was so inspirational. She was amazing. I just came to show my support for a great artist."
